About the Role

Our client is a successful property developer and investor seeking a highly trusted Personal Finance & Tax Manager to work directly with the principal.

This role will act as the principal’s financial right hand, overseeing personal tax matters, investment reporting, and financial coordination across multiple entities and structures.

The position requires a high level of discretion, strong financial expertise, and the ability to manage complex financial affairs in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the principal’s personal financial matters, including cash flow, investments, and reporting
  • Prepare regular financial summaries and net worth reporting for the principal
  • Maintain accurate financial records across personal and investment structures
  • Coordinate personal and entity tax matters with external accountants and advisors
  • Assist with tax planning across trusts, companies, and investment vehicles
  • Ensure compliance with Australian tax regulations and reporting requirements
  • Track performance of property and investment portfolios
  • Assist with financial analysis related to property acquisitions or investments
  • Support financial structuring and financing arrangements when required
  • Liaise with accountants, lawyers, bankers, and financial advisors
  • Coordinate documentation and financial information for key transactions


Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • CPA or CA qualification is required
  • Experience managing complex financial affairs for high-net-worth individuals, property developers, or family offices
  • Strong understanding of Australian tax structures (trusts, companies, property investments)
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality
  • Strong analytical and organisational skills
  • Fluency in Mandarin and English is preferred.
