Our client is a well-established international investment and development group.


Your New Role

You will play a key role in identifying, evaluating and executing commercial property acquisitions across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. This role combines strategic investment analysis with hands-on transaction execution. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, local agents and consultants to drive high-quality investment outcomes and support the company's growth strategy in Queensland.


Job Responsibilities

  • Source and evaluate commercial property acquisition opportunities across Brisbane and the Gold Coast, including office, retail, industrial, hotel and development sites.
  • Conduct detailed financial modelling and feasibility studies, including DCF, IRR, profit analysis and sensitivity testing.
  • Perform local market research, asset performance assessment and preliminary valuation analysis.
  • Lead and coordinate due diligence processes with lawyers, planners, valuers, engineers and other consultants.
  • Prepare Investment Committee papers and present investment recommendations to senior management.
  • Assist in negotiating transaction terms, Heads of Agreement and Sale & Purchase Agreements.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with local agents, consultants, vendors and financing partners in Queensland.
  • Support acquisition funding processes and review financing structures as needed.
  • Monitor post-acquisition asset performance and contribute to value-enhancement strategies.


Job Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Property, Finance, Commerce, Economics or a related field.
  • 2+ years experience in commercial property acquisitions, investment, development or capital transactions.
  • Strong financial modelling and feasibility assessment skills; proficient in Excel-based modelling.
  • Solid understanding of the Queensland commercial property market, including leasing structures and valuation principles.
  • Experience working with consultants, agents and legal teams through due diligence and transaction execution.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality investment recommendation papers.
  • Self-motivated, analytical and commercially minded, with strong stakeholder management abilities.
  • Mandarin language skills will be highly regarded
