Your New Role

An experienced Development Manager is sought to lead site acquisition across QLD, supporting the expansion of a diversified, high-yield property portfolio.


Job Responsibilities

  • Source and assess land and property assets with strong development potential.
  • Conduct due diligence, feasibility studies, and financial analysis (IRR, ROI, yield).
  • Negotiate directly with landowners, agents, and developers to secure acquisitions.
  • Liaise with planners, architects, and consultants to evaluate zoning, DA potential, and approvals.
  • Oversee early development stages and ensure concepts align with market demand and profitability targets.
  • Build and maintain networks across landowners, agents, developers, and government stakeholders.
  • Monitor market trends in commercial, residential, and lifestyle sectors to identify opportunities.


Job Requirements

  • Proven experience in land acquisition and property development in Queensland (Brisbane & Gold Coast).
  • Track record in office, shopping centre/retail, hotel/serviced apartments, or retirement/lifestyle living projects.
  • Strong knowledge of residential apartment development and large-scale mixed-use projects.
  • Familiarity with planning regulations, DA processes, and feasibility assessments.
  • Skilled in financial modelling and investment analysis.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential.
  • Established local market knowledge and networks.
